365 days ago, I started a blog called "My Favorite Farmhouse" to chronicle our new home build experience for anyone out there who's thinking about starting a similar project, to share real-life stories of what it's like to build on raw, undeveloped land, and to share fun home and garden ideas. And now a year later, we're only a few months away from moving in!
Here's what I've learned over the past year, the latest news on the blog, and a few updates on our family these days...

✨Happy 1st Birthday to the blog!✨
Over the past year, there have been some changes to the theme of the blog and website in general. For instance, I stopped sharing vegetarian recipes - the prep time for food blogs is actually pretty crazy, it turns out! But even through a couple of name changes, haha, the blog continues to focus on DIY design and decor.
Also earlier in 2022, I completed certifications in Interior Decorating and Feng Shui. It's my goal to help every homeowner transform your home into an even more joyful place. That's why my motto is "Joyfully Transforming Homes!"

We're a few months away from moving in, Lord willing!
And even now that we're packing to get ready to move in August, there will still be PLENTY of projects to share after moving in. We're still in the last phases of construction, then there'll be decorating, creating a garden, welcoming chickens to the family, building a (hopefully cute) chicken coop, plus lots more DIY ideas!

Thanks for following our journey!
Thanks to everyone who's followed our new home/new life journey over the past year! I'll keep posting fun updates and DIY design tips as they happen. In the meantime, I hope you're all off to a beautiful start to the summer! We're looking forward to spending family time together before the new school year starts, and of course, before the hustle-bustle of moving and settling in begins.
Until next time, may God bless you, enjoy your homes, and have a wonderful week!
With Love, Molly
